About Ganana Tesfa, MD
Ganana Tesfa, MD, has been practicing medicine and advancing his field for more than 30 years. Dr. Tesfa graduated medical school from the University of Pittsburg School of Medicine, where he earned the Gateway Medical Association Academic Achievement Award. He then completed both his Residency in Neurology and Fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology and Epilepsy from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. His clinical special interests include adult clinical neurology, with emphasis on migraines and epilepsy, and electroencephalography, ambulatory EEG monitoring, and electromyography. Dr. Tesfa is fluent in both English and Amharic, and is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. In his spare time, Dr. Tesfa enjoys cooking and playing racquetball.
