About Ericka N. Howard, MD
Fellowship trained in Gastroenterology, Dr. Howard treats a variety of gastrointestinal disorders and has special interest in treating inflammatory bowel disease. She has experience in performing colonoscopies, flexible sigmoidoscopies, capsule endoscopies, and upper endoscopies.
Dr. Howard earned her medical degree from McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, Houston, Texas. Following graduation, she completed her residency in Internal Medicine from Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts. She then pursued specialized training in Gastroenterology at UT Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, Texas.
Outside of work Dr. Howard enjoys trying new restaurants and traveling to tropical destinations, as well as staying active through Pilates, HIT training, and running.
