About Michael D. Sims, MD
Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Sims was born in Denton, Texas, and later graduated from the University of North Texas. He earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and completed his residency at the McLennan County Medical Education and Research Foundation in Waco. Dr. Sims served four years in the U.S. Navy prior to beginning private practice in Grand Prairie in 2003.
He enjoys indoor soccer, tae kwon do, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
